Martha G. Dewees was a lifelong member of Somerset MM. She was the daughter of Joseph and Peninah (Williams) Gibbons. Her mother married out in 1837 (but retained her membership), and her father joined the meeting in 1846. For some reason, MGD's date of birth was not included in the Somerset records. Martha G. Dewees died on the day that was technically the first day of the 20th century.
