Mary Hilles Hall was born in Uwchlan MM, PYM. Her parents were William and Rebecca Hilles, who moved to Westland MM in 1795. Mary Hilles was the first Assistant Clerk of the women's Redstone QM (1808-1815). She married Joseph D. Hall in 1818. They became Hicksites in 1828. Mary was a leader of the Ohio Hicksites; after the division, she served as Clerk of the Women's Redstone QM 1828-1830 and 1832-1835.
