Sarah Ann Cope was one of several women in Providence MM with the name of Sarah Cope, but the clerks usually identified her with her middle name. She was active in the MM from 1834 to 1869, frequently appointed to represent the MM at Redstone QM, to committees to prepare certificates of removal, and to committees either for marriages or to recommend Friends for clerk or overseer.
