James Walton was a leading member of Stillwater MM in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was related to the Walton family in Philadelphia YM. His parents, Samuel & Sarah (Edgerton) Walton, moved from Philadelphia to Stillwater in the year that JW was born.
