Ruth A. Mendenhall was one of the last Clerks of the women's Ohio YM. She was born in New York YM, a daughter of Hubert & Ellen (Peckham) Rockwell. She married Thomas E. Mendenhall in 1909. They lived at Paullina before transferring to Fairhope in 1923 and then to Costa Rica in 1952.
