William Griffith Jr. was a son of William & Deborah Griffith. He moved from Baltimore YM to Middleton MM in 1818. After moving to New Garden MM, he served as assistant clerk 1825-1828. Griffith sided with the Hicksites in 1828 and served as the New Garden MM (H) men's assistant clerk 1828-1830 and then clerk 1830-1832.
