Susanna Shaw was a daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Shaw. The family moved to Westland MM in 1797. Susanna lived at New Garden from 1816 to 1818. After serving as the women's Redstone QM Assistant Clerk, she joined the Hicksites (1828). She married Isaac Cleaver in 1831. They were long-time members of the Hicksite Westland MM, and when the Westland Hicksite MM was laid down in 1864 and attached to Salem MM Hicksite in Ohio, their names appeared on the list of members.
