John H. Livezey was a prominent Friend in Pennsville QM. John H. Livezey was a son of John & Ann (Hampton) Livezey. In 1806, his father John Livezey was partially paralyzed, and JHL was apprenticed to a carpenter in his mother's family. After his marriage, he and his wife Sarah (Roman) Livezey settled first in Bloom Township, Morgan County, and attended Blue Rock Meeting. His family then moved to Goshen Run in Marion Township and attended Chesterfield. In 1865, John H. & Sarah Livezey moved to the Southland community, and their memberships were transferred from Chesterfield to Plymouth Meeting. The Plymouth records give JHL's date of death as 1864, an obvious error; he died soon after moving to Southland.
