Several Smith families have been active in Ohio YM. The largest of these families is comprised of Thomas and Phebe Smith and their descendants; Thomas and Phebe constructed the brick house that is the core of the Walton Home, and their descendants have been prominent in the YM since that time. Other large Smith families include Thomas and Deborah, Thomas and Nancy, and George and Mary. |
