Lydia Hobson was the daughter of John and Jane (Starr) Watt.
Gregory McReynolds provides the following information on her ancestry: Her parents were John Watt (1785-1850), and Jane Starr (1792-1862). John's parents were David Watt (1753-1837) and Lydia Swayne (1750-1819). Jane's parents were George Starr (Abt. 1748-Aft. 1830) and Hannah McCurdy (Abt. 1754 and died likely before 1812).
